At age 70, having practiced since I was 7, performed in public from age 16, and engaged in lesson-teaching and concert-giving, record producing, magazine writing, college teaching of music and science, CD engineering, non-fiction book writing and novel-writing, I was overjoyed to receive this news at the end of a recent restaurant meal with friends:
